2009 Mission Statement ‘Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.’ Allow me to introduce our organization “Trees-4-Branches”. Our mission is simple: “Support our Troops”. We were formed in late 2008 with a goal of sending, fresh cut, miniature, Christmas trees to American Troops deployed abroad. Our efforts have since expanded to helping support our Troops by sending care package items to our brave warriors. We will not only continue to send Oregon grown Christmas trees to our Troops at Christmas, but also care packages throughout the year, as well as cards and letters. Support America’s Armed Forces (SAAF) is a non-profit military support group, based in Washington state, that has assisted us with obtaining names and addresses of deployed Troops. This organization is operated by president and founder Vicky Mohler . They can be visited at by clicking on the link above. With the help of many generous donations we were able to send 44 fresh cut Christmas trees to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Korea this past 2008 holiday season. From the feedback we received from the Troops, our efforts definitely brightened the days of many deserving soldiers. We are now looking for help with items to send in care packages.
